D.J. Haslett is an award-winning artist, published poet, musician, and photographer.
Starting his art career in 1999, Haslett, who is self-taught, has 19 solo shows to his credit, has had work accepted in 50 juried shows including works accepted in the International Art Expo Show in New York City, Bucks Magazine “It’s About Art Exhibit” at the Bucks Gallery of Fine Art, The Ellarslie Open at the Trenton City Museum, The Da Vinci Art Gallery’s “Cut it Up” exhibition in Philadelphia, Gallery 125 in Trenton, Grounds For Sculpture, Hammonton Arts Center, Trenton Artist’s Workshop Association, The Mercer County Community College Gallery, West Windsor Arts Council and Princeton Art’s Council. His work has also been exhibited at the Prallsville Mills, Artworks, Sculpture Association of New Jersey, and Straube Center as well as numerous invitational exhibitions along with member and group shows. Haslett also has artworks in the Hamilton Free Library permanent collection which includes two outside sculptures.
He serves as a docent at the Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ.
